I've just got back from a Northland Surfari trip with Heidi and Bevan, what an awesome experience, can't say enough good things about the weekend. The accommodation provided was great with spectaculour views, the catering was delicious and plentifull (the wetsuit was feeling a little bit snug after some of the meals - especially the cheesecake). Heidi and Bevan were very friendly, laid back and knowledgeable about the local sites and happy to share info about other sites around New Zealand. We were lucky with the weather and able to get decent sessions on the water every day, hanging out with a good bunch of winger and windsurfers. Bevan takes some great photos, he's so talented that he even managed to make me look competent in some of the photos! Couldn't reccommend Water Nomads highly enough for either a trip or gear rental. I look forward to foiling with them again.
